I aim to be an engaging and entertaining lifelong teacher. One who, ironically, decided to defer my acceptance in a UK teacher training college to be a nanny in the US.
I've had a varied career: motorcycles, computers, office supplies, software sales, and for an unexpectedly extended time, in social work. Every one of them involved teaching!
In 2008, I saw a class in the local free paper, 7 Days, for a Feldenkrais class—the first one was free. I went and was delighted, intrigued, amazed, and most importantly, hooked.
I soon decided I wanted to become a practitioner. It took years of saving and struggling to find the time off, but in 2015, after 4 fascinating years of training...I succeeded!
I've been offering classes in various locations since 2013, because it's fun teaching people about a fundamental thing: how to live in their bodies.
I invite you to take the chance, try something new, and explore!
